Claims Administrator - Auto Test & Tech Group

Auto Test and Tech seeks a skilled and detail orientated Claims Administrator, the claims administrator will be facilitating insurance/accident claims on behalf of corporate clients. Duties & Responsibilities: - Process and manage. - Communicate with insurance companies to facilitate claim processing, including submitting required documentation and negotiating settlements. - Liaise with clients to resolve claims and provide updates on the progress of their claims. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and associated communications. - Ensure that claims are processed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures. - Follow up with relevant parties to ensure claims are settled and payments are made. - Coordinate with vendors (Panelbeating. Towing and Automotive Glass) to ensure claims are handled efficiently. - Monitor and track claims to ensure proper documentation is completed and all deadlines are met. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, and claims procedures. Experience and Skills Required: - Proven experience in claims administration, preferably in the automotive industry. - Strong understanding of insurance claims procedures. - Excellent communication skills for liaising with insurance companies, clients, vendors. - Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple claims and meet deadlines.

Commercial/Truck Mechanic - Auto Test & Tech Group

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing diesel vehicles. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance and repair work to vehicles diagnosed/inspected. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to vehicles/trucks. - Servicing of vehicles/trucks - Troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. - Use diagnostic tools to assess and repair mechanical problems. - Maintain a clean, organized workshop and follow all safety regulations. - Recommend upgrades or equipment replacements when necessary. Qualifications and Experience: - Certificate in Diesel Mechanics. - 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic. - Strong knowledge of diesel engine mechanics. - Ability to work independently and within a team to solve complex mechanical issues. - Proficient in diagnostic tools and software for diesel systems. Spray Painter - Auto Test & Tech Group

AT&T Autobody seeks a skilled and detail orientated spraypainter to join the Auto Body repair team. Duties & Responsibilities: - Knowledge with regards to health and safety compliance. - Ensure protective clothing is worn & maintained. - Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. - Maintain spray booth in accordance with manufacturer’s manual. - Ensure daily that filters are clean to allow for sufficient air flow. - Conduct inspections on air supply equipment. - Knowledge of surface preparation. - Knowledge of vehicle painting materials. - Knowledge of vehicle painting techniques. - Knowledge of colour mixing and matching. - Remove paint imperfections using correct methods. - Quality check each process. - Mentor and assist apprentices in your charge. - Report punctually for duty & maintain accurate time keeping in accordance with workshop rules. - Ensure each vehicle has a job card and is correctly checked in. - Ensure quality checks are done throughout the repair process. - Follow workshop planning schedules and assist colleagues when you have no job allocation. - Willing to work after hours and weekends when required. Desired Experience & Qualification: - Qualified Spray Painter - 3 years’ work experience as a Spray Painter will be advantageous - The incumbent must be a highly motivated individual, with good communication skills. - The incumbent must also be an honest and reliable person who is able to do standby and work over weekends if and when required.

AutoBody Quality Control Officer - Auto Test & Tech Group

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Officer to join our team. In this position you will perform quality inspection of work done on all vehicles booked in at every stage i.e. panel beating, preparation, spray painting, fitting, detailing, and most importantly at final inspection of vehicle before release to client. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all repaired vehicles meet the quality standards, and will work closely with technicians and front line to do so. Job objectives and work activities: - Quality check of all vehicles during the repair process and prior to delivery. - Liaise with workshop technicians and management to ensure best quality repairs and satisfied customers. - Other duties as assigned. Job knowledge, Education and Experience: - Attention to detail - At least one year in a similar environment - Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality. - Availability to work weekends and holidays, where required.

Auto Electrician - Auto Test & Tech Group

The Auto Test and Tech group seeks a qualified Auto Electrician to service its workshops within Gauteng (Boksburg, Menlyn, Randburg). The Auto Electrician will be responsible for the auto electrical components of diagnosis, repair and servicing of customers’ motor vehicles. Job Specific Requirements: - Work with computer-controlled engine management systems and other systems. - Service, identify and repair faults on electronically controlled machines such as electronic field systems, electronic gear selection, air-conditioning, and monitoring systems and safety systems. - Install electrical components and equipment such as gauges, lights, radios, alternators, starter motors and wiring looms. - Test the repaired parts/vehicles for safety, using special tools in order to ensure the proper operation and the effectiveness of maintenance activities. - Install electrically operated accessories such as radios, strobes, cameras and convertors. - Use of meters, diagnostic instruments, laptops and circuit diagrams to find electrical faults. - Test and replace faulty alternators, generators, starter motors, magnetos and related items such as voltage regulators and batteries. - Use hand tools, specialized electrical tools and instruments and machines, including drills, grinders, presses and lathes. - Follow safety and protection instructions and rules at work and ensure the proper use of equipment and tools to prevent any possible danger. - Solder or weld when repairing electrical parts, sell and install electrical parts and accessories. - Repair and service air-conditioning systems. - Any other duties as required by the MD from time to time. Workshop Mechanic - Auto Test & Tech Group

The Workshop Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosis, repairs and servicing of customers’ motor vehicles. Job objectives and work activities: - Inspect vehicles to diagnose faults - Follow checklists and record findings, to ensure all-important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, tyres, lights and other potentially troublesome areas. - Confer with service advisor and /or customers to obtain description/s of vehicle problems. - Examine vehicles, compile estimates of repair costs, and secure applicable approval to perform repairs. - Order necessary parts for repairs in collaboration with Service Advisor. - Discuss work to be performed and future repair requirements with service advisor. - Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience. - Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups. - Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear. - Overhaul or replace carburettors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters, and pumps. - Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes. - Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications. - Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems to ensure that the repair/components are functioning within manufacturers’ specifications. - Remove and replace defective mufflers and tailpipes. - Repair and rebuild clutch systems. - Repair and replace automobile leaf springs. - Repair and replace defective ball joint suspensions, brake shoes, and wheel bearings. - Repair, overhaul, and adjust automobile brake systems. AT&T Autobody seeks a dynamic and customer centric Service Advisor to join our team and act as a liaison between our customers and technicians. Your responsibilities will include welcoming customers, listening to their needs, scheduling appointments, providing ongoing feedback, arranging transportation, obtaining authorisation and verifying insurance before autobody repair work is scheduled.  Ultimately, you will work directly with customers to understand their needs and provide our Service Technicians with the information required to provide excellent service.
